I used to be ok splitting the bill thinking what goes around comes around, and the next time maybe they would pay more. But in reality, I would always end up paying more because I am vegetarian and veg items are normally cheaper, and people would be ordering lobster and steak (the most expensive) and then not offering to pay for their own things. I’m done with that, I only go out to eat with people I know really well and I know they won’t put be in that situation where I have to pay for their meat.

This is a really interesting video. But at the end i believe the conclusion can be explained. Here is my take. Our perception of ourselves have been dictated all our life by movies, cultures, others… So much that it s easy to fall into ideas that don t bring value to us, but only to others. But some of us trying to run away from those expectations fell into an other extreme, hate those who do fit. Because at the end of the day this pomegranate girl exist. And as the video said, she does have an inner life that is worth celebrating BUT because of her man’s personnal intention that is not appreciated. Because he doesn t appreciate it. The core of this video is acceptance, creating place for women to define their own life. BUT also mainly, to remind women that the problem is MEN, not all, but those who fail to appreciate a woman qualities because he is blinded by his own desire and exception. Because those men don t love their partner! The love of easily they can push an agenda on them! Don t hate the pomegranate girl, hate the men who fail to see she is more than that!
